Supply Chain Integration

Supply chain integration (SCI) is crucial for a firm’s performance and its
competitiveness as it improves the operational performance of organization which in
return reduces cost of distribution Flynn et al. (2010). Early studies on SCI and its impact
on firm’s performance are not comprehensive enough to disclose the crux of effectiveness
of different SCI practices (Baofeng Huo, 2014). Although evolution of technology has
changed much more but still the supply chains in Asia Pacific countries( which includes
Pakistan) are known for high costs, inefficient operational practices, lack of integration,
uncertainty and lack of customer trust(Ha S. H. & Lim S. W, 2014).
